The Field Quarter was excavated in 2012-2013 as part of the larger study of the home sites of the Montpelier enslaved community. This site yielded an array of artifacts that told much about the lives of the enslaved families who lived there during the early 19th century.  The following object report provides a summary of the various household items (including ceramics, glasswares, and personal items) and architectural items (including nails, hardware, and architectural building materials).  Click here to download the report.
