We the People Virginia State Finals

The 2007 Virginia State Finals for the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution program was held on Saturday, February 10 at the Doubletree Hotel in Charlottesville, Virginia. Schools from around the state gathered to compete for the opportunity to travel to represent Virginia at the 2007 We the People National Finals in Washington, D.C.

The team from Maggie L. Walker Governor's School for Government and International Studies in Richmond

The team from Maggie L. Walker Governor's School for Government and International Studies in Richmond represented Virginia at the 2007 National Finals. After the first two days of competition, the Virginia team performed well and finished in the top 10. This allowed them to compete on the final day of the National Finals where they finished 5th overall.

2008 Virginia State Finals
The 2008 Virginia State Finals will be held on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia on Saturday, February 9.
