Kimberly A. Trickett, MA
Curator of Archaeology CollectionsKimberly joined the archaeology department in 2007 and has served as laboratory supervisor, manager, and currently as Curator. She has worked with both historic and prehistoric artifact assemblages at Montpelier and at several archaeology sites throughout the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Her educational background is in anthropology, historical archaeology and museum studies. Kimberly's research interests include public archaeology, museum studies, and historic preservation. At Montpelier, Kimberly manages the day-to-day operations of the archaeology laboratory to ensure proper processing of samples; supervises volunteers and staff; catalogues and restores ceramic vessels; and develops interpretative visitor displays for the open museum space.
