Bring your family and friends to Montpelier on Saturday, September 20 for a fun day of balloon rides, music, food, beer, wine, and fireworks.

$10/family for non-Orange County Residents. $5/family for Orange County Residents. 

Liberty Ride Horse Parade

10:00 AM – Departs from Oakland Heights Farm as a group.
Noon – Arrive at Montpelier for lunch and viewing.

Tour the Mansion

Open house from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Complimentary tours of James Madison's lifelong home. New furnishings arriving daily add to the presidential splendor. 
Archaeology Site Interpretations 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Your Hosts: James and Dolley

Noon - James and Dolley will arrive at Montpelier at noon by carriage in the Liberty Ride Horse Parade.

10:00 PM – 5:00 PM Colonial Games

Horse Drawn Carriage Rides

10:00 AM - 6:00 PM A 10-minute circuit of the property with Art Magner and his Percheron horses starting at the Temple. $5/adult and $2/child.

8:30 PM Festivities will conclude with a fireworks celebration.  

Last admission at 7:45.

11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Local Specialty Wine, Beer, and Cider Tastings.

$12 in advance or $20 at the gate (included complimentary Constitution Day admission)
