Parking and Getting Around
ParkingFree parking is located at the Visitor Center. Eight handicapped parking spaces are available requiring a handicapped license plate or tag. Designated spaces for buses, RV's and trailers are also available. Visitors are advised to lock vehicles. Montpelier is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property. Overnight parking is prohibited. All vehicles must be off the site by closing time. Getting AroundThere is a 1/3 mile walk to and from the Visitor Center to the Mansion (2/3rds-mile round trip). Everything on the estate is available by walking on roads or paths. There are also 2,600 acres to explore, so walking shoes are advised. Please see accessibility for specific venues.
