Join us for a special photography workshop from October 10-13. In this program, photographers will enjoy unprecedented access to Montpelier, the historic estate of fourth President of the United States James Madison, with 2,650 acres of rolling hills, horse pastures, and spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Participants will also receive exclusive lectures and instruction from National Geographic Photographer, Kenneth Garrett.

Enjoy a rare opportunity to photograph the interior of the 22-room historic home, where James and Dolley Madison welcomed many guests and entertained family, friends, and political associates, and the beautifully furnished and appointed rooms reflect this hospitable lifestyle. Other photographic opportunities abound, with access to the Formal Gardens, the Landmark Forest (during Fall foliage season), archaeological digs, artifacts, a Civil War campground, and many other historically significant attractions.
