"We stopped into this site on a whim as we were passing through the area. We're so glad we did. The signature tour is a perfect way to be acquainted with the Madisons and their home, not to mention their contributions to the founding of our nation. Lucas was a very well informed guide who apparently couldn't be stumped by any question asked. The grounds are lovely. This is a visit well worth making."

"We were very pleased to find out that we could visit the archeology exhibit and activities any given day. Our kids loved looking through the drawers that were full of china, glass, and other objects. Absolutely recommend Montpelier!"

"Nice tour and beautiful grounds. Visit the graves of the Madison's or watch the archeologists work. Worth the time."
