Transfer Stock or Securities

For information about donating securities, please click here. Donating Appreciated Securities to Montpelier may reduce your income and estate taxes and avoid capital gains taxes entirely. Giving appreciated securities is a great way to make both annual gifts and those special gifts you occasionally want to make.

Gifts from an IRA

It’s simple to designate TMF as a beneficiary of all or part of your 401(k), IRA, or other qualified plan. Simply obtain a Designation of Beneficiary form from your retirement plan administrator and complete as directed. It is a great idea to use these distributions from retirement plans for charitable bequests, as they may be subject to income tax.

Planned Giving

Supporting The Montpelier Foundation as a beneficiary of your estate planning is the ultimate gift. Because of thoughtful planning, your gift will sustain our mission and provide long-term financial support to Montpelier, while fulfilling your personal philanthropic and financial objectives. Please click here for ways you may support Montpelier through Planned Giving and become a Madison Pillar.
