Celebrate the 250th Anniversary
Celebrate the 250th
Montpelier is commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, the Revolutionary War, and the Independence of the United States.
From its founding ideals to its leading figures, more of what made America happen, happened here in Virginia. Which makes Virginia the ideal place to learn about our nation’s beginnings, no matter what state you call home.
With your help, we can educate Americans about our history; engage with every community to tell a complete story; and inspire people to recommit to the values inherent in citizenship. Ultimately helping us form the “more perfect union” envisioned by the Revolutionary generation.
